We do not collect nor store any banking, credit or debit card, or other financial information on the SSA Site. The SSA Site is not an eCommerce site. While it is possible to purchase items from the SSA Site, it is done through hyperlinking to other sites such as Amazon, or via email or phone. If any banking or credit card information if provided for the sake of a sales transaction initiated through the SSA Site, we will immediately destroy the information upon the completion of the transaction.

Sharing of Information

We may disclose user data to any member of our organization who reasonably needs access to user data to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

We will not share nor sell your data to any third party, except in the following situation, should they arise:

  • If required for a legal proceeding

Data Storage and Security

Your personally identifiable data is stored on our the SSA Site until you unsubscribe via Mailchimp or direct us to delete it. Log and cookie data is stored until the purpose of the data is achieved. Log and cookie data can also be removed by using your browser to clear cookie and site data. Refer to the information regarding your specific browser to achieve this.

We have configured and use WordPress and Mailchimp to keep your personally identifiable data secure. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and have no control over third party collection (i.e. such as by Google).

Updates to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of August 29, 2021, and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, this Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to our data collection process, for example, if we elect in the future to become an eCommerce or Membership site. Your continued use of the Site after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by placing a prominent notice on the Site and also in our Newsletter.
